This document outlines how Yablink processes data in adherence with regional data protection standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). We write our rules in clear, direct language.

1. Who we are

Yablink is a platform operated by Yablink Project Operations Group. We provide a service that connects foreigners in Turkey with travelers willing to carry personal goods. When we say “Yablink,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in this policy, we mean the company operating this platform.

For questions about this privacy policy or your personal data, contact us at: privacy@yablink.com

2. What information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and some information automatically when you use the platform.

Information you give us:

  • Name and email address (when you create an account)
  • Phone number (optional, if you provide it during sign-up)

  • Listing and request content (the routes, dates, descriptions you post)
  • Messages you send to other users through our platform

  • Other users: Information you post publicly (listings, profile information, delivery history) is visible to other Yablink users. Messages are visible only to the parties in that conversation.
  • Legal requirements: We will disclose data if required to do so by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public.

  • Reported content: Retained for up to 36 months to support safety investigations.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have certain rights regarding your personal data. In the European Economic Area and under Turkish law (KVKK), these include:

  • Right to access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to deletion: Ask us to delete your personal data (subject to legal requirements).
  • Right to portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.

We do not use advertising cookies or share cookie data with advertisers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the ‘Last updated’ date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify registered users by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
